The fourth series of Shetland premiered on 13 February 2018 and is comprised of 6 episodes. Based on the novels by Ann Cleeves, Shetland follows Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez and his team as they solve murder cases on the Shetland Isles.

Premise

A convicted killer's return to Shetland after 23 years in jail coincides with the murder of a local journalist and Perez and his team must investigate both cases.
