The third series of Shetland premiered on 15 January 2016 and is comprised of 6 episodes. Based on the novels by Ann Cleeves, Shetland follows Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez and his team as they solve murder cases on the Shetland Isles.
Plot[]
When a young man disappears on the Aberdeen to Shetland ferry crossing and a small boy ends up in intensive care, DI Jimmy Perez and his team investigate; becoming convinced the two events are connected.
